Important FDIC Information
The First National Bank of Talladega is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all non interest-bearing transactions accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules. This does not include NOW accounts or any other interest bearing demand deposit accounts. Interest bearing demand deposit account will continue to be insured for up to $250,000 under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
